What Is Orion's Dimmest Star

start of season 2010!

It is new every year a special experience - the start of the triathlon season. In the last few years (or better - until now) was the kick-off for the racing season for me always takes place in the train. The Zytturm triathlon gave me always a good platform for my form before the Zurich Ironman test - and due to be nervous if it does not happen as expected. Mostly I was in train before the race started at the Winterthur half marathon and is biased because I run this was from 2007 to 2009 and three times in a row to German, in the pants - time for it to break new ground.
the half marathon I ran but already this year - rain, cool temperatures and with the aftermath of food poisoning, I went to the start. I was in tenth place overall, remained at this track for the first time (just) below the limit of 1:20 hours of running time and made it into my class after all, to second place - actually not bad, I can say probably.
followed in the weeks to undergo a rigorous training program in which I often entertained the suspicion that it had on me except my coach - but what can I say? I enjoyed to the fullest, regardless of the weather follows me to push the limits, sometimes in the evening that I no longer knew if I should giggle or howl, only mistaken. How it should be!
On Saturday was the first triathlon on the program - this time not in train, but the Austrian Kirchbichl.
I keep it short: it was a brilliant experience. Saturday morning in the car, four-hour drive to Tyrol with a short stop for Wiener schnitzel, then by 15 clock start. People like Faris Al-Sultan, they would reach there, the air was so thin on top - otherwise, since when my legs on the first climb on the bike, I realized that I had in terms of speed-strength training or nothing at all - only after a good 15 kilometers I came into the aisles.
similar to the running - the spasms, I had in my upper chest muscles, were unseen and forced me at about seven miles to a flat laborious breathing. I was thoroughly diesel.
the end I was in 18th place finish in the standings, the race I was third in my category - I can do better!
But - along with a great and very hard day, this race for me like a premiere. For the first time in my life anyway I started without my asthma medication - I'm the last four months, "Clean". I did not know how my body would react respectively in this brutal, high intensity - and was seen such a lot to learn. I know now, what can I work and I look forward to drive this year without chemicals in the system my race - and to give it all! The roadmap for Copenhagen's true!
I am most grateful to all my sponsors and supporters who have enabled me to this race and support me! Without you would not!
Thanks also to the greenhorns Bichlwang for the photo service - your event is Rock 'n' roll and I'm looking forward to next year!
Sincerely,
Fabian
